6 Litre 12V/240V Water Heater with Mixer Valve (no coil)
This water heater provides the equivalent of 9 litres of hot water in a 6-litre size by heating cold water to a hotter temperature an then mixing it with more cold water through the already installed thermostatic mixing valve on the heater. The result is 50% more hot water! & compact dimensions for easier installation.
It has been developed using eXothermal Technology and the principles of heat exchange to provide an electric water heater that delivers 50% more hot water than standard water heaters without an increase in size or weight! They are of a high-quality construction with 100% copper water tank, for long-term reliability and integrity. They come with a fully insulated outer case for efficiency enabling the boiler to retain heat for up to 24 hours. Powered by a dual voltage element of 300w 12vdc and 230-volt mains electric element of 750 watts, they will provide sufficient water for even the larger installations. Operating pressure 16- 30 psi (1-2 bar), built in 2.5 BAR pressure relief safety valve, Adjustable thermostat set to 80∞C max. Adjustable thermostatic mixer valve for water temperature outputs of 45°C to 65°C. Water connections for 15mm push fit, for PVC plumbing use 15mm female straight to 12mm reducing barbed connector.
Approx 25 amps on 12vdc 300w element functions, Please use the 12v intelligent charger supplied to stop big drains on either your vehicle or leisure battery.
What you get is
1 x 6L Heater

all other parts you will need to purchase separately
First, select a suitable location for your new Water Heater. Place the Water Heater in position and secure down using it’s four fixing feet.
The Water Heater is fitted with a temperature mixing valve (1). To set the valve turn anti-clockwise to the maximum, this will give a maximum water temperature of 65°C. When the knob is fully closed i.e clockwise it is set to 30°C.
The hot out and PRV are made for 15mm push fit plastic plumbing, Hep20 or speed fit. Hot out must be at 12 o’clock (ie at the highest point) and cold in at 6 o’clock (the lowest point).
Push on your plastic plumbing or compression fitting to the mixer valve (1) for your hot water supply. Push on your cold feed (2) to supply pump pressure cold water to the Water Heater. Immersion electrical connections, (5) - Connect to both 12 volt supply and mains supply.
Pipe the outlet of the pressure release valve to a suitable discharge point, please note this water will be hot.
Immersion heater (5) instructions contained on ‘Immersion Connection Instructions’ sheet. It is advised that an expansion bottle is fitted on the hot supply between the thermostatic mixer and first take off (i.e. Taps). This will relieve the increased pressure caused by hot water expansion.
When deciding on the position of installation, care must be taken to ensure access can be obtained for future servicing and/or removal.
Whilst the insulation used for water heater ensures exceptional heat retention, the exterior can be easily scratched, it is recommended that the heater is positioned such that minimal contact with other equipment is ensured, in addition, the heater should not be positioned in contact with equipment that can reach a high operating temperature.
Only competent individuals should attempt to install the water heater, an incorrect installation will void the warranty and no liability shall be taken by CCCAMPERS Ltd
